Is the Bay-CSS Walk, Run and Roll a timed event?
A
Yes. Both the 10K and 5K events will be timed using a digital race timer with a large double-sided LED display which will start at the beginning of the race and run non-stop until the last contestant crosses the finish line. It reads to the hundredth of a second.

Will prizes be awarded?
A
Yes, prizes will be awarded by raffle using the participants' registration numbers (you must be a paid participant, and present to win).  There will also be prizes awarded for first male and female in both the 10K and 5K events as well as for Teams based on size, i.e. the most participants, and the team that raises the most funds for the event.

What do the courses look like?
A
There are three courses for you to choose from. The runner's course is a combination of dirt and paved road.  The walk course is made up of paved surface, dirt road, blue chip gravel, and grass/stone trails, and the roll course is a combination of paved and dirt road. Please see below for more details:

6.2 miles (10K)  and 3.1 miles (5K)
Walk
- 6.2 miles (10K)  and 3.1 miles (5K)

- 3.1 miles

Will runners be released first?
A
Yes, runners will be released first at the start of the event, followed by participants in wheelchairs, and then our walking participants.

When will the participant numbers be given out?
A
Race numbers will be distributed the day of the event (Saturday, April 22nd). A separate sign-in table will be set up for those who have pre-registered for quicker processing beginning at 8 am. If you would like to make arrangements to pick up your registration packet in the Bay-CSS' Hollywood Office before the fun run/walk, please contact Brandy Blackstone at (301) 863-8870, ext. 322

When will I receive my event t-shirt?
A
Event t-shirts will be distributed the day of the event (Saturday April 22nd). A separate sign-in table will be set up for those who have pre-registered for quicker processing beginning at 8am. T-shirts will also be available for purchase for $7.00 (while supplies last).

Will I be able to purchase shirts at the event?
A
T-shirts will be available for purchase for $7.00 on the day of the event (Saturday, April 22nd) while supplies last.

Are pets allowed at the event?
A
Dogs are allowed, but please keep them on a leash.

Can I make a donation to a Fundraising Team?
A
Yes. Please visit our

The "Roll" in Walk, Run & Roll refers to our pre-approved "Roll" Course for our participants who use wheelchairs.
