EVENT INFORMATION

Q
Is the BAY-CSS Walk, Run and Roll a timed event?
A
Yes! The event will be timed using a digital race timer with a large LED display which will start at the beginning of the race and run non-stop until the last contestant crosses the finish line. It reads to the hundredth of a second.

Will prizes be awarded?
A
Yes!  We will be offering prizes for both Men and Women. We do not award prizes in age groups...but stay tuned in the next few years for that step!

What do the courses look like?
A
There are three courses for you to choose from, however, they follow a similar path made up of paved surface and dirt roads. 
Run - 6.2 miles (10K)  and 3.1 miles (5K)  
Walk - 3.1 miles (5K)

 
Q
Will runners be released first?
A
Yes, runners will be released first at the start of the event, followed by walkers, and then participants in wheelchairs.

 
Q
When will the participant numbers be given out?
A
Race numbers will be distributed the day of the event to anyone in the 5k or 10k. Participants in the Fun Run will not receive a race bib but will still receive a race packet.  A separate sign-in table will be set up for those who have pre-registered for quicker processing beginning at 8am.

When will I receive my event t-shirt?
A
Event t-shirts will be distributed on the day of the event. A separate sign-in table will be set up for those who have pre-registered for quicker processing beginning at 8am. T-shirts will also be available for purchase (while supplies last).

Will I be able to purchase shirts at the event?
A
T-shirts will be available for purchase on the day of the event while supplies last.

Are pets allowed at the event?
A
Yes! We love dogs and we are happy to have them! Please keep all dogs on a leash at all times, and as always, be respectful and clean up after your dog.

Can I make a Donation to a Team or Individual?
A
Yes, Absolutely! Please visit our Walk Donation page to learn how to make a donation through PayPal or by mail.
