Bay Community Support Services, Inc. would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to the local UPS volunteers that dedicated themselves to working on 3 of our residential houses! These houses are homes to people with disabilities and the UPS team of 63 (yes! 63!!) amazing volunteers did an incredible job! They had wonderful work ethic and a great attitude! We are so thankful to this incredible group of people!!

We would like to thank the lovely group of ladies from the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, not only for volunteering for a beautification project at THREE of our Residential Homes, but moreover for being exceptional to work with! These ladies showed up ready to work and put in so much effort that they completed the work at all three houses by 11am!! Thank you so much ladies for helping to take one more step into making these houses a home for people with disabilities! Bay Community Support Services, Inc. would also like to thank Olive Garden in Waldorf for generously providing a delicious lunch for our volunteers and staff! Thank you also to our wonderful staff that helped with this project!
We would like to extend a special Thank You to the volunteers from the Severn Bank for volunteering their time towards the beautification of our one of our residential group homes! A special thank you to our Bay Community Support Services, Inc. team, Gui and Janise for helping to coordinate the details of the event and make it a great success! We want to send out a heartfelt thank you to the caring volunteers from CACI, Inc. who assisted with beautification projects at our Bel Air residential group home in California, Maryland during our Annual Day of Caring event sponsored by the United Way of St. Mary’s County. The dedicated volunteers from CACI, who so generously support Bay-CSS every year during this annual day of caring, assisted with weeding, raking, pruning and power washing the home. Thank you for the hard work and your continued support. The home looks beautiful! A special thank you to Bay-CSS Board Member, Mike Mead; CACI Director, Mike Quinn; United Way Board President, Scott Stahr and United Way of St. Mary’s County for all their help in coordinating this wonderful event. Congratulation to Ms. Carol Hebb, Direct Support Professional for Bay-CSS and Ms. Cherish Shepard, Manager at KFC for their hard work and dedication to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Ms. Hebb was nominated for the Direct Support Professional Recognition Award by Bay Community Support Services for her commitment to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities for the past 18 years. Ms. Shepard was nominated for the Employer Recognition Award by Bay-CSS’s Vocational Field Manager for her dedication to supporting and mentoring individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities within the workplace. Please join us in congratulating these two wonderful ladies for all they do to assist the individuals that we support. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!
Thank you, to all of the wonderful volunteers who helped out at our Nicholas, Lisa Way and Lisa Drive houses in Charles County during the Annual Day of Caring event that was sponsored by the United Way of Charles County (Wednesday, September 20th). Thank you to the caring volunteers who include employees from UPS and Josie and Eric Washington for giving of your time and talents to help with beautification projects during the event. The homes look great! We would also like to take a moment and send out a very special thank you to Judy Mattingly and Cathy Lavender from our board and Terrie Horstkamp from United Way of Charles County for all their help in coordinating the event.
